These exquisite chainmaille earrings are created with a European 4-in-1 weave and a multitude of tiny jump rings. The tiny rings are a bit of a challenge, but Uli will show you the best way to tackle these beauties. Purple not your thing? These can be done in any color combination and once you master the technique and pattern, you'll want a pair in every color of the rainbow! Skill level: Intermediate - students should have some chainmaille experience
Students are encouraged to bring magnifiers (readers) or an Optivisor if needed. Instructor: Uli Ross - www.etsy.com/shop/creationsbyuli Uli has enjoyed learning about and creating chainmaille jewelry since 2006. When she first got interested in making her own jewelry, she never thought chainmaillle would become her main focus. Once day, she ordered some jewelry and ring kits form Metal Designz and has been completely obsessed by this fabulous art ever since. Some of Uli's work has been published in Belle Armoire Jewelry magazine in an article about how to incorporate colour into making chainmaille jewelry. She sells her creations on-line and also at local art and craft shows, especially during the Christmas season. Aside from her love of chainmaille jewelry, she has always been involved in the fibre arts and is passionate about knitting, spinning and weaving. Uli lives in Surrey with her husband and 2 children who all have to be very tolerant about stepping on stray rings all around the house.
